Recently, it was learned from relevant departments: Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Social Sciences announced that Qingtian Ni Dongfang Art Museum has been identified as the eighth batch of provincial social science popularization bases.

The social science popularization base is a strategic decision made by our province to promote cultural Zhejiang and a strong province in social sciences. It is also a major measure to further strengthen the socialization, massization and regularization of popular science work. The Zhejiang Federation of Social Sciences put forward specific standards, requirements and application procedures for this.

The Qingtian Ni Dongfang Art Museum opened in June 2017. Under the guidance of the County Party Committee Propaganda Department, it has actively created conditions and launched the establishment of a provincial social science popularization base.

There are five exhibition halls in the Ni Dongfang Art Museum, covering a total of more than 3000 square meters.

When entering the museum, the first thing you see is the original stone corridor, where the Qingtian stone culture is systematically introduced, and the varieties, characteristics and identification methods of some of the Qingtian famous stones are displayed.

The "Shi Hai Gou Shen" hall explores the origin and development of Qingtian stone culture and the glorious footprint of stone carving.

The "Oriental Treasures" hall and the "Gathering of Heroes" hall emphasized the spirit of Qingtian stone carving masters and great country craftsmen represented by Ni Dongfang. Appreciate the profoundness of the Qingtian stone culture and the ingenious carving skills.

The "Infield Collection" hall comprehensively displays the historical origins of Chinese seal cutting culture; the characteristics and styles of seal cutting art in various periods, as well as the indissoluble bond between the masters of seal cutting art in the past and the Qingtian stone.

Ni Dongfang Art Museum is the best display window of Qingtian stone culture; it is also a science and education platform for popularizing and disseminating scientific knowledge to the society.
